Anthony Iacono (M.F.A. ’17), who has just graduated from VCUarts, was recently awarded the Toby Devan Lewis Fellowship, a $10,000 stipend to be used at his discretion. The fellowship is given out annually to M.F.A. students who are poised to graduate from a fine arts program.
“Iacono has worked tirelessly over the past two years,” said Sculpture Department Chair Matt King, with faculty and peers recognizing his accomplishment.
“This is a wonderful affirmation of what can happen when artists take on the challenge of immersing themselves in concentrated, serious work,” King said.
