VCUarts Alumna Gives Styling Tips for Anthropologie

Anne Douglas White (B.F.A. ’10) is a Home Personal Stylist at Anthropologie, a new service that gives customers styling tips, helping them with everything from curtain conundrums to wallpaper ambitions to foyer goals. White studied in the Department of Craft/Material Studies at VCUarts and took her textile and furniture design skills to Antropologie’s home office in Philly.

“A great trick is to keep everything in the same color family. This dining room looks advanced, but it’s really about three colors—white, black and rust. The unified palette makes everything feel cohesive and does some of the work for you.” – White’s style tip shown in featured image
