Department of Sculpture + Extended Media MFA alumna Teresita Fernandez was featured by CBS Sunday Morning for her newest installation in Madison Square Park. In the segment, “Teresita Fernandez and the Art of Landscapes,” CBS correspondent Martha Teichner discussed the installation “Fata Morgana,” a metallic structure that is elevated over a walkway in the park, and walked through the artist’s process, her studio and her career. Fernandez was also recently featured in the Wall Street Journal for her work, which will be on view in the park through January 10, 2016.
