The Council for Interior Design Accreditation has announced that Erik Johan Granberg, associate professor of interior design, Mohammad Nabil Suleiman and Haithem El Hammali are the winners of a $2,000 merit award. The VCUarts Qatar-based team were recognized with the Award of Excellence for their entry “Meta Studio,” an interdisciplinary meeting of three classes: Design Studio, Materials and Graphics.
To explain their ideas, processes and outcomes, the team developed a short video available to watch on Vimeo.
