The Institute for Contemporary Art (ICA) will open to the world on October 29, 2017 with the inaugural exhibition Declaration, which will “explore contemporary art’s power to catalyze change.” The exhibition will feature painting, sculpture, multimedia works, site-specific installations, and time-based performances by emerging and established artists, including work VCUarts professors Stephen Vitiello, Hope Ginsburg, and Jon-Phillip Sheridan, and VCUarts alumni Andrea Donnelly (MFA ’10) and Levester Williams (MFA ’16).
